Adnan Menderes Airport (IATA: ADB, ICAO: LTBJ) is the international airport serving the province of Izmir in Turkey. It is within the borders of Gaziemir district, 14 km south of the city center. It takes its name from Adnan Menderes (1899-1961), who served as prime minister between 1950-1960.
While the owner of the airport is the State Airports Authority, the operator is TAV Airports. Adnan Menderes Airport, which hosted 12.365.256 passengers and 83.585 aircraft traffic in 2019, is the fifth busiest airport in the country. In terms of cargo traffic, it ranks third among the airports in the country with 16,915 tons.
